In the invitation to this conference, we encouraged you to use our invitation as a source of inspiration. The result exceeded all our expectations: We are proud to present 47 abstracts from researchers in 20 different countries - from Finland to South Africa, and Nepal to France.
Based on the theoretical and thematic approach of every abstract, we have deployed the abstracts in groups following four lines:
- Violence from the local context to the international scene
- Challenging understandings of violence
- Political and legal responses to violence
- Initiatives for change
